New Classes Starting

Bending Tree is excited to announce yet another round of classes. We have a couple of new classes starting, Tai Chi for Wellness (Qigong) starting May 5th and 6th with a second round starting June 11th, 13th, and 17th. The Animal Frolics will transition to the Crane Frolic for Summer beginning May 13th. The Tai Chi for Health classes are continuing with open enrollment the last week of each month. The Tai Chi for Wellness classes are in full swing, but there's still time to join the last open classes, one in the morning and one in the evening. There is truly something for everyone this year as we expand our repertoire of classes. Bring a friend and enjoy some tai chi!

Don’t forget chi club the first Saturday of each month, 9:30 AM (9:15 am for early bird special) at Francis Asbury United Methodist Church 1871 North Great Neck Rd- if this is your first time, bring your graduation card (don’t worry if you can’t find it, come anyway!), and see the coordinator- Debbie Calvert. For more information, click "Chi Club" on the menu to the left.

Next Chi Club is Saturday, June 7th.

Volunteer Opportunities

Bending Tree is a company run entirely by voluteers. We need you to help fulfill our mission of offering the teaching. If you have a talent or resource that you could put to use for Bending Tree, or if you would just like to lend a hand, don't hesitate! Think volunteer! Contact Jude at 318-9355.

"Current Student Page" authors needed

Do you have a desire to share some time keeping these Current Student pages updated? Do you have some ideas on content that you believe would benefit others? Do you know how to use a Word Processor? We can quickly train you in the basics of writing articles for the Current Student pages that are automatically linked in. You don't need to know how to write software for the Internet, you just need to know how to write letters, and have a desire to share with your fellow students.

If this sounds interesting to you, please call Jude at 318-9355. Thank you.
